Surgery times are variable and can range from three to five hours. The patient usually can expect mild swelling and bruising for two to three weeks following surgery. Incisions from the surgery are carefully camouflaged by their placement against the ears and in the hairline.

Blepharoplasty (eyelid cosmetic surgery), Botox, brow lift procedures, chemical peels, facial and/or neck liposuction, skin photo rejuvenation, Restylane and other cosmetic fillers, are all effectively combined with a face lift procedure to produce a more desirable result depending upon the individual patient. They also may all be options, in a variety of combinations that will postpone a face lift procedure for quite some time.
