Her dual training, certifications and privileges allow Dr. Sumpter to work with breast cancer patient throughout their journey - from cancer removal surgery to reconstruction.

Dr. Sumpter is board certified by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Ostopathic Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. She is a member of the America society of Breast Surgeons and has full cosmetic surgery and general surgery privileges at two hospitals and three certified ambulatory surgery centers in northwest Houston.
